Why This Role Matters

As a Structural Designer with 3+ years of experience you'll play a key role in supporting the firm and shaping projects that make a difference-from concept through completion. You'll collaborate with talented teammates, contribute your expertise, and help us deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for those we serve. This opportunity is a Full-Time HOURLY position.

What You'll Do

• Provide REVIT drawing production support of projects in the structural discipline and work well with structural engineers
• Work in a team environment and on multidiscipline projects
• Effectively handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines

Requirements

• Have 3 plus years of experience using Revit, preferably structures
• Able to work on moderately complex projects under general supervision
• Ability to produce construction documents, including 3D model generation and detailing
• Willing to collaborate with other team members and have good interpersonal skills
• Experience with Revit importing/exporting with other modeling software (AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) and 3D scanning technology are not required but would be a plus

Salary for this role is in the range of $29-$39/hr

This position is primarily performed in an office or hybrid environment and may require travel to project sites, other Shive-Hattery office locations or to meet with clients. A full clean driver's license is required. The role involves sitting, standing, and working at a computer for extended periods. May also require lifting light to medium weight objects of up to 50 lbs., the wearing of PPE and navigating active construction sites .
