This role involves developing and executing comprehensive sales plans, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering data-driven insights to optimize advertising performance. About the team:The Sam’s Club Connect Sales team drives growth by enabling brands to engage members through data-driven advertising solutions using first-party insights. Collaborating with suppliers, agencies, merchants, and cross-functional partners, the team creates integrated media and experiential programs that deliver measurable results across digital and in-club channels. Sales leaders develop commercial strategies, build executive relationships, identify opportunities, and translate objectives into effective solutions. Operating in a dynamic, collaborative environment, the team works across functions to achieve revenue goals and foster long-term strategic partnerships that support sustainable business growth. What you'll do:Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to drive advertising revenue growth for Sam’s Club Connect.Develop and execute comprehensive sales proposals and presentations tailored to complex customer needs.Manage negotiation processes, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while protecting company interests.Utilize business insights and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize advertising solutions.Oversee Consumables client onboarding, improving processes to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support cross-functional collaboration and business objectives.Mentor and guide team members on best practices, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.What you'll bring:Proven expertise in applying business acumen to analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting advertising sales.Strong capability to translate business requirements into strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.Experience leading sales scoping, qualification, and forecasting activities in complex market environments.Advanced skills in developing and delivering persuasive sales proposals and presentations.Demonstrated negotiation proficiency to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while protecting company interests.Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across varied teams and markets.Proficiency in leveraging data analytics to derive actionable business insights and optimize advertising strategies.
